Perennial herbaceous medicinal plant whose leaves, in addition to being used in salads, have a high diuretic action. The plant has a height of between 3 and 9 cm. From its large root, a rosette of leaves with short, underground stems develops at ground level. It produces a flower with a characteristic bright yellow colour.
